Hello, I am Teresa Thompson-Smith of Williamson, WV.  I have a degree in Commercial Art and Advertising, Art Education, and will be finished this year on my master degree in Secondary Art Education. I taught Science and Art in the early nineties at Mingo Christian School. Last year I accepted an Art position into the Mingo County BOE, teaching Art at Kermit Pre-K-8 School.  My heart has always been in the classroom where I truly love teaching Art. I am also a 4-H Leader and BETA Club Sponsor. My motto in life has always been, "School is never out for true professional". The goal for my classroom is to always "make a difference in the lives of my students".

   I am married to Christopher Smith and together we enjoy boating, traveling, and walking our dog Sonnee'.  I have three wonderful children, Cari, Brianna, and Steven.  Four of my greatest joys in life are my grandson, Jaxson; granddaughters, KaeLynn Rae, Olivia, and Willow Ramsey. I am a Christian and member of First Baptist Church of Williamson, WV where I am Choir Director and assistant Sunday School Teacher in Women of Grace Class.
