Mingo BOE Filing for Waiver to Continue the 4-1 Week

The Mingo County  Board of Education and the Mingo County School District are submitting a waiver request to the WV Board of Education to continue with the 4-1 school week model. Currently the District has in-person classes Mondays through Thursdays, with Fridays being remote learning and prep time. The West Virginia Board of Education took action on February 23 to send all K-8 students back to school 5 days per week but made an exception for county school districts, like Mingo, who teach both virtual and in-person students.
