Welcome to the Burch Bulldogs Jr Beta Page

Burch PK8 is proud to host a local chapter of the National Jr Beta Club for our students. The National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational organization in America. Our chapter has been at Burch PK8 since 2011. We are proud to be a National Beta School of Merit, where we strive to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among our elementary and middle school students.  

Our club is divided into two divisions. Division I includes grades 4-5 and Division II includes grades 6-8. In order to become a member, students must maintain a GPA average of at least 3.0 and participate in service and leadership activities throughout the year. They must also show good moral character by demonstrating our motto: Let Us Lead by Serving Others 

Our Betas have the opportunity to showcase these skills and other talents at our annual state convention held in Charleston, WV. For information on how to join, contact Mrs. Deanna Powers, Mrs. Sherrie Spence, or Mrs. Kristi Hardin, our school sponsors.
