Here at Burch, we strive to foster an environment where students are able to reach their full potential. One way to accomplish this is by providing them additional support in the area of academics. Our Title I teachers design and deliver extra instructional assistance in reading and math to small groups of students. Our goal is to help all students succeed!

Sandy Porter
Mrs. Porter is one of our Title I teachers. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Pikeville College and a master's in reading education from Marshall University. Her background includes second grade, special education, and library/media specialist.

Summer Pruitt
Ms. Pruitt is one of our Title I teachers. She graduated from Marshall University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's degree in reading education. She has experience as a first and second grade classroom teacher and has been teaching in Title I for over 10 years.
