Hello and Welcome!

My name is Mrs. Davis and I teach 4th grade multi-subjects at Burch PK8.  I am married to Mr. Davis (3rd grade teacher Burch PK8) and mom to Alyssa.  We have a pup named Daisy also.   I grew up in Pike County and graduated from Shelby Valley High School in 2000.  I continued my education by obtaining a B.A. in Psychology with an area of concentration in Human Services at Pikeville College in 2004.  I moved to Mingo County in 2004, and the community has become mine.  I then went on to obtain my masters in teaching (MAT) from Western Governors University.  This is my 5th year of teaching full time in Mingo County, but I spent many years working as a long-term substitute teacher while working on my master's degree. I enjoy teaching very much and look forward to continuing my career at Burch PK8.
