• ELPA21

The West Virginia English Language Proficiency Assessment for the 21st Century (ELPA21) is an online system that measures English language proficiency. The ELPA21 is given to all students who qualify for English language development services through the placement test. The assessment is aligned to the state’s English language proficiency standards and measures the annual progress that students make in the domains of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Mingo County School will administer the ELPA21 to qualifying students during the state testing window, February 2, 2021 – March 19, 2021. Results will be shared with students and parents/guardians as soon as they become available.
