Tammy Gilman is a Registered Nurse and CTE Instructor with 11 years of experience as a nurse working in different areas of the hospital. Prior to accepting the position at Mingo Extended learning Center as the LPN Coordinator she was the shift supervisor at Logan Regional Medical Center. She began her career in the health care field in 2003 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In 2011 she graduated from Southern Community and Technical College with an Associate degree in Health Science. Mrs. Gilman completed a BSN from Chamberlain University in April 2023.

During her time at Mingo Extended Learning Center she has obtained her certification in Career and Technical Education (CTE) and her certification as a BLS Instructor for the American Heart Association. Her Continued education and training have allowed her to obtain a masters +45 status with the Mingo County Board. She has a multi-state license that allows her to practice and teach nursing in compact states.
