Pop Art Painting - Color, Contour Line, and Line Weight. Students will create a completely original painting inspired by Andy Warhol of the Pop Art movement using watercolor/gouache and color pencil. Students will choose an image that is painted in a distinctive color scheme. Focusing on contour, students will add contour lines with color pencil and vary the line weight of their contour lines to create emphasis and depth. Focus on the composition using the elements of art and principles of design.
