Mrs. Baisden is a cum laude graduate of Marshall University with a BA in Math Education 5-Adult, and she received her master’s degree in Educational Leadership maintaining a 4.0 GPA in all her graduate studies. She has six years of teaching experience, five of which have been educating the students at Tug Valley. Mrs. Baisden was named Tug Valley Teacher of the Year during the 2018-2019 school year.

Mrs. Baisden is a 2011 graduate of Tug Valley High School where she was valedictorian. After furthering her education at Marshall University, Mrs. Baisden returned to her hometown to help educate the students of the coalfields.
