This is Kimberley Harrison’s fourth year working at Tug Valley High School; she is a member of the Special Education Department. Kimberley is a retired teacher from Virginia with 34 ½ years of experience. She has a Bachelors Degree from Longwood University in Specific Learning Disabilities, and a Masters in Mild/Moderate Disabilities from the University of Southern Mississippi. Kimberley has endorsements in LD, BD, MI, Autism, and Preschool Special Needs. Kimberley taught middle school special education for 24 years was a Special Education Coordinator for 7 years and worked with transition for the state of Virginia for 8 months. This will be Kimberley’s second year as Co- tennis coach at Pike Central High.

Kimberley is married to Mike Harrison, a minister at First Christian Church in Pikeville, Ky. She has a bonus daughter, Hannah who works for an insurance company in Virginia and a daughter, Jillian who is a senior at UPike. Kimberley has a COVID puppy named Poppy and a rescue puppy named Rocky.
