Mrs. White graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelors Degree in Social Science Secondary Education. Mrs. White taught 1 year of Middle School at Crawford Middle School in Lexington, KY before transistioning to teaching High School. Mrs. White taught 2 years at East Jesamine High School in Nicholasville, KY before moving back to Pike County, KY to be close to family. Mrs. White taught 2 years at Burch High School before the consolidation of multilple high schools to form Mingo Central High School. With the consolidation Mrs. White transferred to Tug Valley High School where she is going into her 12th year of teaching at the school and is currently the Social Studies Department Chair. Mrs. White teaches 9th grade World Studies in our Freshman Academy as well as AP Psychology, AP US Government and Politics, and AP Human Geography. In addition to teaching at Tug Valley High school Mrs. White has also been the assistant cheerleading coach for the past 3 year. Mrs. White has also had the opportunity to present at the national High Schools That Work conference in Louisville, KY, Nashville, TN and most recently Kissimmee, FL.
